Fall Road Cleanup
On Saturday, September 24, the annual Fall Road Clean-up will take place. As usual, we’ll gather in theparking lot of Bridgehampton Commons on the King Kullen side at 10:00 AM. From there we’ll caravan over to
Route 114 where we’ll pass out pointy sticks and trash bags, divide into groups and head off to our assigned
sections.
What’s special about this clean up? Well, when this road clean up is in the books, we’ll have completed 30 years
of service on Route 114 between East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Over the past 30 years, the Club has called for
volunteers 78 times. Almost 1,100 Metros answered the call. Of course, there were lots of repeat volunteers.
